Coleman- Parkes – another Great Year
Nearly a decade since it was formed and Coleman Parkes Research
continues to grow from strength to strength, reflecting the
success of its high quality, added value philosophy, based
on superior levels of client service and support.
2007 was again a record year with revenue up 73%, bolstered
by unprecedented levels of repeat business as CPR has cemented
solid on-going relationships with its major clients.
Whilst several new clients have been added this year, as in
previous years, CPR has actively managed the growth of its
client base to protect the depth and quality of its final
deliverables and its focus and commitment to client success.
This enables us to provide real strategic input into our clients
planning and communications activities.
In 2007 CPR cemented its position as one of the leading researchers
in the field of technology and communications. Advancing technology
is changing the world we live in – fast! As consumers
and businesses get to grips with this the implications are
massive. Nowhere is this more significant than in the area
of mobile communications. Having conducted several global
projects over the last few years, CPR now has great experience
and knowledge with regard to the impact of mobile devices
on the business environment at all levels, technology, process,
infrastructure, personnel and social.
Add to this a vast knowledge of other key technology trends
such as collaborative tools and processes; CRM; security,
data centres, network management and applications management
to name but a few and you can see the extend of our capabilities.
Expansion of our international capabilities providing a truly
global service has continued. Again in 2007, as in previous
years, we have completed major research projects across 4
continents, 25 countries and in 17 languages.
We have continued to expand our online research capabilities
and revenues. This allows us to provide a high quality cost
effective and controlled medium for information gathering.
This said, it is very important to use online research selectively
based on individual project parameters – especially
in the B2B environment.
We continue to outstrip out competitors in our ability to
generate accurate robust information from senior executives
throughout the world. A thoroughly professional approach from
highly trained, experienced interviewers with exceptional
levels of relevant product and market knowledge, encourages
even over researched CXO level managers to assist us. All
in-depth qualitative research, face-to-face discussions and
focus groups, are carried out by members of our executive
team, especially the founders Ian Parkes and Graham Coleman
who have great experience of Board level communication.
Plans for 2008 will see us focus on maintaining exception
levels of customer service and for all of our clients providing
real value add in all parts of the research process. We will
build on our core competencies and add new skills as new markets
and new opportunities for our clients emerge. We will continue
to focus mainly on researching senior decision maker policy
and opinion. In short it will be more of the same –
but even better!
We look forward to working with you again, or maybe even
for the first time, in 2008.
